Maintenance engineering and ILS

LGM offers solutions to improve upstream maintainability, in-service maintenance, availability, global and workshop logistics organisation, lifespan, obsolescence management and operating costs of complex high-tech systems and infrastructures.

The company designs and deploys logistics information systems and performance optimisation tools for the design of systems and infrastructures, their support systems and their in-service support.

LGM's leadership enables it to design new breakthrough products for tomorrow's maintenance, for example, through predictive maintenance solutions. Its solutions are based on artificial intelligence, exploiting the data collected by the IoT solutions developed by LGM Ingénierie. If necessary, LGM directly manages the ISS contracts of many systems to guarantee their availability and to control their operating costs.

Our solutions

  • Definition of maintainability & support system
  • Definition of support elements (spare parts, tools,...)
  • Predictive maintenance, data analytics & IoT/HUMS
  • Historically, LGM analyses how to define support systems or maintainability.

The purpose of these analyses is to define all the means (tools, spare parts, skills) necessary to maintain the studied system.

For the maintainability analyses, LGM calculates the repair time and proposes solutions to optimise (alternative means of support, such as a change if tools, or a change in the phasing of operations...) and to check accessibility, in particular via digital mock-ups.

  • Logistic information systems (BASL, LCC, GMAO)
  • In-service support
  • Optimising logistic performance and operational costs

A look at Maintenance engineering and ILS

Arnaud Audouin ILS & ISS business line manager

The complexity and longevity of new systems lead manufacturers to design and consider as early as possible the ISS that will make it possible to keep their system available over its entire lifetime at a lower cost.

Thinking about the maintenance of your system from its conception to its dismantling here is the added value of LGM. We design maintenance engineering, or ILS, starting from the phase the need is expressed to obtain a system that achieves the right compromise between its operational availability and its total cost of ownership (LCC, Life Cycle Cost).
